Notes:
- This year you (Scouts and Adults) will have the option to have all meals while at camp provided by the Troop (pricing on the registration forms)
- Since the numbers of meals served on this campout will be more than normal there will be a duty roster sign up sheet at the sign up table for adults to pitch in and help our Grub Master
- If Patrols chose to participate in the troop meals (eliminating meal prep, cooking and clean up time for scouts) we would like to see that the time saved be used for hiking, camp activities and other rank requirements
- Since we are working on the Hiking Merit Badge for January we will take advantage of being at Thunder and there will be a group Day Hike on Saturday (lunch on the trail – Mountain House or equivalent brought and cooked by you) and a group Half Day Hike on Sunday
- We request that each Patrol spend some time figuring out what they will and won’t participate in so that the proper gear can be packed or NOT packed
- For those not going straight thru to Thunder on Friday overnight accommodations are a challenge again this year. As of now we are tentatively booked to use the Moody Air Force Station gymnasium. Final confirmation is in process.
