To prepare for Camp Thunder, we hold a practice or “shakedown” hike at the Flagler Trailhead on Saturday 12/18.
Camping – Camp Shands in October

We did a fun filled program with lots of rope, hands-on activities, Pioneering skills and structure building on the camp-out
OWC Aquapark in August
Date: 08/21/2021
August is Beat the Heat Month hosted by the Silver Knights Patrol
The Aquapark has an Obstacle course with 40 features, 3 skill levels and a beach area
Summer Camp @ Lanoche in June
Dates: 06/06/2021 to 06/12/2021
We had an amazing week at Camp La No Che.
The scouts earned:
– 126 completed merit badges/classes
– 30 partial merit badges
Spring Court of Honor
Date: 05/25/2021
We do a Troop Court of Honor twice a year to recognize all of the advancements our scouts have achieved in the prior six months.
Camping – Camp Winona 2021
Dates: 03/26/2021 to 03/28/2021
Judging from the smiles this weekend, the Winona campout was a hit for the Scouts.
Special thanks to chef Tom Hoisington for the great adult grub and to Miguel Santiago for the big assist in the camp kitchen all weekend. Appreciation also to Mike Kochmann for making the Saturday trip to facilitate the BSA swim test. SPL Xavi Ortiz rocked, as always.

The number one campout of the year by our scouts for the past 20 years
