The troop camps monthly with most destinations more than two hours from Central Florida. We get out in the woods so our scouts can experience the outdoors. Scouts camp as patrols using their patrol equipment (stove, lantern, dining fly, propane tank, patrol box, cooler) that was assigned to them as first year scouts. Destinations vary each month, with some of our favorites being Oleno State Park, Ft. DeSoto Park, and Camp Thunder in Georgia that is our winter camping trip in January.
