Who should attend:
- All Patrols must have a patrol leader and Asst. Patrol Leader and ASM(s) in attendance
- All the members of the Sr. Patrol (SPL and ASPLs)
- FYE Patrol leader and Assist Patrol Leader with 2 Troop Guide to assist the FYEs
- Limited number of Committee and ASM leads for over all support.
How to start your preparation:
- Your patrol should have 3 well-formed ideas with these requirements ready before the August planning conference.
- Theme for the Month (e.g. Merit Badge, a skill or activity, scout skills or adventure). Focus on activities, not requirements.
- A month or months of the year that will work with your “Theme”
- A camping location that will support your program theme
- The estimated cost for the campout per scout (not including patrol grub fees) you can use the “program financial guidance” excel document in the cloud folder
- You need to have as much information on your program ideas so that you can “sell” the PLC on doing your program. You need to show up at the conference with a good outline and even written out information on what your patrol is offering the troop in your program and why the PLC should vote for your patrol’s idea.
- 1 Summer camp location for July out of state summer camp
