Special Project for Lanoche – April 2nd, 2022

Most of the Troop knows that over the last 10+ years Troop 787 along with Mark Spinicelli (787 Alumni) has done numerous projects at Camp Lanoche: Campsite 19 huts and activity shelter; council ring sound system and sound booth; 11 activity shelters throughout camp; Steve Holland Pottery Barn; Bike Barn; Spinicelli Group Camp, Lamott Staff Camp, Quartermaster facility and the Chris Burns Vocational Trades Building.

Well, we have a new project underway that is retrofitting a mobile building (i.e. mobile home) to house the female scouts who serve on camp staff for the summer. The mobile building is in south Orlando (528 & OBT area) near Mark’s business and is being retrofitted and then will be transported to Lanoche and installed.

Where we are at right now is: Carpentry type tasks – hanging doors, trim work, etc.

If you can spare a few hours on Saturday April 2nd beginning at 8:30 – please join in on this worthwhile project. You may bring your own tools, there will be some there onsite. Water and electric are available onsite.

From Mark:
Location is 10601 General Dr., Orlando, FL. We have water on site and power need people that know carpentry a big plus..
