Order of the Arrow Elections

The Order of the Arrow is the honor society of the Scouts BSA. It began in 1915, founded by E. Urner Goodman and Carrol Edson. The OA provides service to units, districts and councils. It has a its own opportunities of leadership and growth for all members.

The OA will be at the Troop meeting to conduct elections for those 787 scouts who meet the eligibility requirements of 15 days and nights of camping in the last two years, 5 days must be at a long term camp (summer camp, high adventure, national Jamboree).  Also they need to be First Class or higher.   Note:  If a 2nd class scout is close and can finish by their Ordeal in January, then we will put them on the ballot as it happens only once a year.
