Patrol Hike to Black Bear Wilderness on Saturday, 30th October
This is our first practice hike to prepare for Thunder. Focus is hiking skills, safety, endurance, and trail cooking. We are going to do between 5-7 miles in the Black Bear Wilderness on the west side of Sanford.
Arrive to church by 7:45am, depart 8:00am – estimated return 2:00pm
Patrol Hike @ Moss Park on Saturday, 24th July
Meet at Willow Lakes at 8:00 am, depart for the park in carpools ASAP
Return at approximately 1:30 pm

Tuesday Patrol meeting will be at Trotwood Park in Winter Springs, not far from Willow Creek.

To all Scouts needing to complete Tenderfoot 3d, 6a, or 6c, the following opportunities are happening next week
Totin’ Chip Class
We will be holding a Totin’ Chip on Saturday, May 8th at 9:00-11:00am at Willow Creek.
This is for all FYE scouts and others who do not have Tenderfoot Req 3d and their Totin’ Chip.
- Date: Saturday, May 8th
- Place: Willow Creek Church by scout trailers
- 8:00am – Instructor and Troop Guide
- 9:00am – Class Begins
- Non-Uniform event, wear class B shirt.
- Bring water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and scout handbook.

Fitness Eval (Tenderfoot 6a or 6c)
- Date: Tuesday, May 4th
- 6:30pm before the troop meeting, meet in the back parking lot.
- Mile Run, pushups, situps, sit&reach.
- wear appropriate clothing and shoes, bring water
