This is a FREE camp @ La-No-Che, but we need some of your volunteer time. This Webelos Transition weekend campout is organized through the Central Florida Council, our troop is hosting a hands-on cooking demo for Webelos scouts and their families who will be moving into BSA Scouts. Also, if you’re able to just come up for the day and help, that’s good too.

  • Our scouts will be teaching the Webelos and AOL scouts boil-in-a-bag omelets and foil packets. It’s hands on, and there are 8 – 50 minute sessions.
  • Service hours for Bright Futures is available.
  • We need at least 8 youth and 3 adults for this event as a minimum, more is fine.

  • Scouts will bunk in the cabins by patrol.
  • Adults have the option to use the scoutmaster bunks or personal tent.

Departure/Arrival location:

  • Arrive at Black Hammock by 5:30 pm for immediate carpool departure on Friday (Dec 1st).
