Detail:

Due to the weather, we have elected to not camp this weekend and will now make a day trip to the Car Show and Museum.  There is no cost for scouts and leaders to enter the museum or for lunch (The museum is bringing in lunch for us). Please see Joci in finance for a refund if you have already paid for the camping/adult grub fee.

We will meet at the Oviedo Target parking lot for a 6:30 am departure on Saturday 2/4/23.  Please do not be late.  I would hate to leave someone behind, but we must leave no later than 6:30 am. to set up for the show.  We will not be stopping for breakfast.  Please eat or bring it with you! The address for Target is 820 Oviedo Mall Boulevard, Oviedo, FL 32765. https://goo.gl/maps/gYgxpkie2vdt6pHG9. The scouts will return around 4:30 pm on Saturday. We will meet at the same Target parking lot in Oviedo.

All scouts must wear the Class A Uniform.  We will be assisting with parking, registration and flag ceremony and must look our best!  Your uniform is your ticket for admission/lunch.  Also, bring a water bottle and rain gear and put your name on them.

If this change allows you to join us and you would like to sign up, please do so no later than 5:00 pm Thursday 2/2/23.  At that point we will finalize drivers and riders to the museum. If you have not already returned your permission slip, please email it to me or bring it Saturday morning.

  • Any parent/sibling who would like to attend will need to pay the $25 per person donation to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
  • The car show will have food trucks on hand so if you would like to bring money for additional food you may, but it is not required.
  • Any scouts who attend and help with the car show are eligible for three hours of community service. This would count for scouting as well as bright futures hours!
  • The museum has a website where you can see the vehicles in the collection.  Check it out at https://www.americanmusclecarmuseum.com
