The Thunder Campout is a winter hiking/camping trip to a Georgia Boy Scout Camp Martin Luther King weekend. The FYE’s (and many of the older patrols) backpack into back country to camp the first night, then return to base camp for the second night.
Planning for Camp Thunder has been active. We have booked Thunder, Rangers for Climbing, Rifle, Shotgun, Archery and the backcountry for those that will be backpacking. We have the dining hall on Sunday for overnight sleeping and a movie.
