The Thunder Campout is a winter hiking/camping trip to a Georgia Boy Scout Camp Martin Luther King weekend. The FYE’s (and many of the older patrols) backpack into back country to camp the first night, then return to base camp for the second night.

Friday will be either drive straight through depending on when you can depart Orlando or stopping overnight at Camp Osborn in Sylvester, GA.
Saturday Lunch will be via Chef Hoisington and his crew of unruly assistants.
Patrols are responsible for Saturday Dinner, Sunday all meals. Thunder base camp has multiple fire pits which are good for cooking over the open fire. We will have our supply of grills with us.
