The Webelos Transition weekend we have supported for the past 10+ years is going to occur (thought it was cancelled) so our campout will be December 4th-6th at Campsite 19 at Lanoche.
- This is a troop campout where all patrols should plan to attend. We will assign our scouts to the activities where they can best serve.
- We have FYE’s and other scouts who are Scouts, Tenderfoot and 2nd Class and stalled. We are making a focused effort to move them along the scouting trail to make up for lost time due to COVID. Please plan on attending this weekend’s campout we will not utilize these scouts in the hosting efforts and focus their time on advancements. We can also do 1/2 day hosting and 1/2 day advancements.
- We will eat all our meals in our campsite, we WILL NOT be using the dining hall. Mr Hoisington and Mr Deluca were working the menu planning for that weekend. They will be looking for several adults to make up the kitchen crew to feed our troop members.
- End of day appetizer of Wings over the open fire for all attendees.
IMPORTANT: Saturday dinner is a Troop Family event. Parents/siblings of each scout are invited for a Troop dinner, with Campfire and the scouts performing skits/songs. Arrive between 4 PM/5:30 PM, dinner at 6 PM is the target. All activities will be in Campsite 19. Bring your camp chairs.
