Working on the Aviation Merit Badge requirements: @ Constant Aviation
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting at Constant Aviation tonight, including parents and siblings. Younger siblings will need to remain close to their parents.
7:00 PM: Parents drop off Scouts in full Class A uniform and face mask at Constant Aviation, 100 Constant Ct, Sanford, FL 32773.
FYI – Constant Aviation is off of 25th St/SR 46. It is not on the airport entrance side of the airport. It is on the opposite side of the runway from the terminal.
- Tour of the facility to include ramp/hanger spaces where aircraft are stored.
- Staff talk about different careers in aviation at the facility, to include required education, training, and experience necessary for employment. (Ask lots of questions, and you’ll have plenty of information to use for requirement 5 as well)
- Group picture with cool airplanes or the Sanford Airport in the background.
8:00-8:30: Parents please be onsite for pickup by 8:00, and we will conclude the visit no later than 8:30.
