Seminole District is conducting its 3rd annual Scouts in the Community Flag Retirement Ceremony this upcoming June 14th, National Flag Day!
There are two ceremonies scheduled that day, one on the West side of the county in the morning and one on the East side of the county in the afternoon/evening.
This event is entirely led and conducted by our Scouts from multiple Units with adult leader supervision and helps promote the services our Scouts and the program provides, strengthens our less experienced Units, provides teaching opportunities for our more experienced Units, educates the public, and increases visibility of the Scouting program in general.
