DESCRIPTION:We have an annual BSA required swim test to get our FYE’s tes
 ted plus all other members of the troop so they are prepared for summer ca
 mps and high adventure activities. This is both youth and adult.\n\nDetail
 s:\n\nThe swim test assesses a participant's swimming ability and ensures 
 they can safely swim in deep water. This swim classification is used for a
 ll sorts of scouting events that involve water activities.  April's plann
 ed program is the Canoeing merit badge\, so all those looking to earn the 
 canoeing merit badge and plan on attending campout to do the practical can
 oeing skills will need to complete this in order to participate.  Additio
 nally\, this can count towards second class swim requirements.\n\n1. Plea
