DESCRIPTION:\n 	Citizenship in Society MB Class\n\nWe will be meeting at th
 e Sanford Civic Center at 5:30 pm. There is no meeting at Willow Creek thi
 s week. Please do not show up there as the gates will be locked.\n\nClass 
 A uniform is required for all scouts. Mr. Fogg will bring the blue cards w
 ith him and distribute them to you before the course begins. Please bring 
 pen and paper with you as well. When you arrive\, look for our Troop. We w
 ill gather in one area. There will be a lot of scouts coming for this meri
 t badge. Please be on time so you can get inside and be seated in time for
  the course to begin. Please print and review the merit badge prior to Tue
 sday as this will assist you in completing the requirements.\nDownload Cit
 izenship in Society Worsksheets\n\n\n\n\nThis year the mayor’s youth cou
 ncil is focused on promoting diversity and equity within our community. Th
 is initiative connects well with BSA’s own diversity and inclusion proje
 cts\, so the Mayor’s Youth Council is putting on a Citizenship in Societ
 y merit badge class to further our reach.\n\nThe Citizenship in Society me
 rit badge will be Eagle required for all scouts who submit their Eagle pap
 erwork after July 1st\, so this is a great opportunity to get it out of th
 e way. All requirements will be covered\, and there will be a merit badge 
 counselor there to sign your blue cards. If you are participating and foll
 owing directions\, you will be able to earn the merit badge in just one ev
 ening. More information about the merit badge can be found here.\n\nThis m
 erit badge is largely discussion-based\, so it would very beneficial for y
 ou to review some of the requirements before the event to get an idea of w
