SUMMARY:Troop 787 Annual Swim Test
DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again—our annual troop swim test is 
 coming up!\n\nWhether you're knocking out your swim classification for the
  year\, preparing for summer camp\, or just looking for a good time in the
  water\, this is a great opportunity to get it done in a fun\, supportive 
 environment. We’ll have designated lanes and plenty of space to ensure e
 verything runs smoothly.\n\nCost: $8 per person (covers lane rental)\n\nBe
 low are the official BSA swim classification requirements:\n\n Swimmer Tes
 t (Full Qualification):\n\n 	Jump feet first into water over your head\n 	
 Level off and begin swimming\n 	Swim 75 yards using strong strokes (sidest
 roke\, breaststroke\, trudgen\, or crawl)\n 	Then swim 25 yards using a re
 sting backstroke\n 	Must swim 100 yards continuously with at least one sha
 rp turn\n 	Finish by resting while floating\n\n Beginner Test:\n\n 	Jump f
 eet first into water over your head\n 	Level off and swim 25 feet\n 	Stop\
 , turn sharply\, and return to the starting point\n\n Non-Swimmer:\n\n 	An
 yone who does not complete the beginner or swimmer test will be classified
