DESCRIPTION:Program: Scout Skills\nProgram Patrol: Vipers\n\nCOVID-19 restr
 ictions have been bumped up at Ft Desoto from 25 campers to 50 campers. Wa
 hoo!!!\n\nThe Campsite:\n\n 	We will be sharing with another group so lets
  shine with our following of the Scout Laws.\n 	The parking is tight there
  which means we may have to park in an overflow area or at the Boat Ramp a
 cross the street.\n 	The site is tree covered and in some cases very littl
 e air movement under the tree canopy.\n 	No electricity at the site.\n 	Ba
 throoms with flush toilets onsite.\n 	Outdoor cold water showers are there
 .\n 	Canoes will be there\, you have a kayak and can transport it\, you ma
 y bring it.\n 	When in the canoes there is no shade\, make sure you have s
 un-screen\, hats\, sunglasses. And MOST OF ALL WATER. You will probably be
  taking ziplock bags with your lunch with you in the canoes.\n 	You should
  have water shoes for in the water activities. Lots of shell bed/sand so w
 alking barefoot is guaranteed to cause cuts on your feet.\n 	If we have sc
 outs who bring fishing gear\, the troop will buy bait for them to use.\n 	
 There is a Civil War fort on the island which is through the park entrance
 \, each car load is $5. Our camping location is outside the park entrance.
